Bandana Pillow

I continue on my sewing quest to make our home more handmade.

On a recent trip to WalMart, I got the cheapest pillow I could find ($2.50) and two bandanas that complimented each other ($1 each).

I admit, I just sewed the two bandanas and stuffed it without thinking. MISTAKE! 

The little pillow fibers were sticking out of the teeny tiny thread openings of the bandanas. So I undid the whole thing and this time used the original pillow casing as a lining, re-stuffed it and finished off the seam.

The kids love it! Well, Axel was hogging it!
